2026 Scholarships

The Dedham Junior Women’s Club is offering four scholarship awards in 2026 to Dedham residents. Two awards are available for high school seniors who will be continuing his or her education at an institution of higher learning: the Tory J. Civian Student Volunteer Award for $1500 and the Dedham Jr. Women’s Club Student Volunteer Award for $1500.  Applicants should complete the student volunteer scholarship application and are automatically considered for both awards. 

We are also offering a scholarship award given in honor of Erin K. Gorman.  This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior or adult pursuing a career in nursing.  Applicants who are entering or currently enrolled in a nursing program will be considered for this scholarship.  

A fourth scholarship-award is open to a Dedham woman returning to school (after a year or longer absence) or continuing her education after completing a college degree program. Named for the late Karen E. Baker, the DJWC’s first president, this $1500 award is designed to support the educational pursuits of a Dedham woman who is an active volunteer.
