Scholarship Opportunity for Non-Traditional Students
A fourth scholarship-award is open to a Dedham woman returning to school (after a year or longer absence) or continuing her education after completing a college degree program. Named for the late Karen E. Baker, the DJWC’s first president, this $1000 award is designed to support the educational pursuits of a Dedham woman who is an active volunteer. Educational programs such as certification classes and conferences qualify for this award.
All applications are available here. Completed applications are due on April 24, 2023.

2023 Scholarship Applications Available
The Dedham Junior Women’s Club plans to offer four scholarship awards in 2023 to Dedham residents. Two awards are available for high school seniors who will be continuing his or her education at an institution of higher learning: the Tory J. Civian Student Volunteer Award for $1500 and the Dedham Jr. Women’s Club Student Volunteer Award for $1000. Applicants should complete the student scholarship application and are automatically considered for both awards.
We are also offering a scholarship award given in honor of Erin K. Gorman. This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior or adult pursuing a career in nursing. Applicants who are entering or currently enrolled in a nursing program will be considered for this scholarship.

Candidates' Night
Please join us for a non-partisan event to introduce the candidates for town election and their positions on pertinent topics. Questions can be submitted anonymously by Dedham residents and there will be no access to the questions until the event. All DJWC members who are involved in this event are unaffiliated with any of the candidates. Please use the QR code in the graphic below to submit your questions.
